Grades 1-4: First Stage Kids

Sign up and you’re in! Our First Stage Kids program is perfect for students who want to try their hand at theater arts while learning and performing in a shortened (approx. 30 min.) version of a Broadway musical. An experienced production team provides excellent instruction as students learn the show. Two rehearsals per week culminate in several short performances.

    As our organization recovers from the COVID shutdown, our "First Stage Kids" productions are on hiatus for the 2021-22 season. We are hopeful they can return the following year! Grades 1-4 ARE eligible to participate in our "Stagedoor Entertainers" series, 60-min. musicals for grades 1-5.

Grades 6-9: Stage Center Performers

Our Stage Center Performers program offers opportunities for students to expand their talents, explore new skills, and audition to be cast in full Broadway musicals or straight plays. In these full productions, performers rehearse three times per week, guided by an experienced artistic team, to expand their creative talents, build self-confidence, and encourage personal growth. High expectations produce impressive results as the rehearsal process culminates in several top-notch performances.

  • Audio Reinforcement & Mixing (Grades 6-12)
    Oct. 18 & 25, 4:30-6:00 p.m.

    What is good sound? Work with Stages’ microphone and sound equipment to produce results that answer that question. We’ll cover wireless things, live sound and other topics that deserve good defining.

Our Top Stage Teens program offers opportunities for students to expand their talents, explore new skills, and audition to be cast in full Broadway musicals or straight plays. In these full productions, performers rehearse three to four times per week, guided by an experienced artistic team, to expand their creative talents and push their performance toward a professional level. High expectations produce several high-quality performances.
